Talk to me the directors make fun of the “horrible” sequel, calling a “one of the best things” that will ever start

Promoting their new nightmare movie Take it backdirectors Danny AND Michael Philippou dropped a mockery around the long -awaited sequel to Talk to meThe horror blow of Breakout which transformed a mummified hand and 90 seconds of possession into wildly disturbing theatrical experiences.

During their appearance on Boo Crew’s podcast (through Bloody Disgusting), the brothers revealed that they are currently sitting on two versions of the Talk to me 2 The script, and both are obviously going to a dark territory. Danny explained:

“Two different sets of characters found in two different places. I am equally enthusiastic about both. There is a scene in one of them that I think it will be one of the best things they have ever shot.”

This is a great affirmation from a director whose debut film has been full of shocking and hardcore brutal visions that involve teenagers possessed with demons.

Michael made the backup of Hype, taking a look at the scale of their twisted ambition:

“It’s so horrible. I’m like” this is crazy “and I have already started talking to people. I am like” how can we do it practically? “So those conversations are happening, but it is a question of moving away from the world and then returning to it has been reinvired.

Well, I’m thrilled to see what they are making fun of here!

Instead of jumping straight into the sequel, the brothers have chosen to make a detour with Take it backAnother story of emotional ghosts. But, Talk to me 2 It is still a priority. In fact, Danny suggested that another original horror film will probably first.

“At the moment I’m writing another horror film, which I love so much. And I seem to be huge. So there is that. And then [it] It would be to talk to me 2. “

The first Talk to me followed by my seventeen year old (Sophie Wilde) while trying to contact his dead mother and turned spiral into supernatural chaos thanks to a crew of teenagers who deal with evocation spirits as a party makeup. Needless to say, things become gloomy quite quickly.

No release date for Talk to me 2 However, but if they bring out what they are planning, we could look at a sequel that not only is up to the first, but exceeds it in brutality and ambition.
