A & and Apple studios and are working on a unusual series based on Lars Kepler novels, mutual Liev Schreiber (The perfect couple, Ray Donovan) ,, Zazie Beetz (Atlanta, Deadpool 2), AND Stephen Graham (Adolescence, Boardwalk Empire).
Rowan Joffe and John Hlavin will be co-showrun and executive products together with Tim Van Patten, who will direct the first two episodes.
The project tells the story of Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), a former soldier transformed into a detective murder which, tired of working on the difficult roads of Philadelphia, moves to a small city in western Pennsylvania for a quiet life.
But, while the city and his family are attacked by the diabolically cunning serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham), Jonah must protect everything that cares dearly. When the desperate search for Jurek Forces Jonah’s latest victim to send his adopted daughter, the FBI agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), against Jurek, how far will Jonah go?
Lars Kepler is a pseudonym for partner writing Alexandra Coelho Ahandoril AND Alexander Ahandoril. Kepler is a more sold thriller author with 10 published criminal novels, who sold 18 million copies globally. The book series is translated into 40 languages and distributed in over 170 territories.
Filming will begin this summer in Pittsburgh.
