The Disneyland Resort is making a big change as they have just confirmed it Monsters, Inc. Mike & Suly to the rescue! At California Adventure it will close at the beginning of 2026 to make way for a new one Avatar “experience.”
This change was produced by Disney D23 exposure last year, where they revealed plans to bring Avatar AND Coco A Disneyland Resort. What they did not say then was what parts of the park they would have been sacrificed to make it happen.

Construction on Coco Ride will begin this autumn and will not require demolition of existing attractions.
