The first teaser trailer was released for the next final film in Downon abbey franchise, Downton Abbey: The Grand Final. This is the teaser that has been released to the participants in the cinema with and we are finally able to see it alone. The third film in franchise and is written by Downon Creator and winner of the Oscar Julian Fellowes.
The film is set in the 1930s and suggests that the film talks about the Crawley who approach the abbey behind them. It will be a bittersweet sending, especially considering the loss of the fantastic character, Violet Crawley, Grantham’s Dowager Council, played by the deceased, great Maggie Smith.
The return cast for the film includes Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Robert James-Collier, Joanne Froggatt, Allen Leech, Penelope Wilton, Lesley Nicol, Michael Fox, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Kevin Doyle, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sophie McShera, Douglas Reith AND Dominic Westtogether with new exciting additions, Paul Giamatti, Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale, Arths FrooushanAnd more.
