Mike Flanagan’S Carrie The Amazon series is officially taking shape and the casting news have just hit as a bucket of blood.
Ten usual series have been announced for the new adaptation of Stephen KingNew debut, included The fall of the house usage prominent Samantha SloyanWhich is entering the terrifying shoes of Margaret White, the ultra-religious and deeply disturbed mother of Carrie.
Fans of Flanagan’s work will immediately recognize this as a suitable game. Sloyan became one of the director’s reference collaborators, having appeared The pursuit of Hill House, Midnight mass, The Midnight ClubAnd even his 2016 film Silence.

When his father suddenly dies, Carrie is forced to enter the public high school, where he is swept into a scandal that exhibits the darkest trends in the city and awakens something telecinetic within her.
The production should start early in Vancouver. Flanagan will act as a showrunner, writer, executive producer, and is destined to direct multiple episodes. Longtime production partners Trevor Macy They will also produce executive products with their intrepid imagination banner. The show is supported by Amazon MGM Studios.
