Netflix has just dropped the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro long -awaited movieFrankensteinAnd it seems that he made a beautiful and stunning film! I am very enthusiastic about this film and it seems that the director has delivered something special and Absolutley I love graphics!
Del Toro opened mainly on the film and what he is trying to say saying:
“Someone asked me the other day, does it have really frightening scenes? For the first time, I considered it. It is an emotional story for me. It is personal like anything else. I’m asking a question about being a father, being a son … I’m not asking a horror movie – I never try to do it.”
Del Toro’s stories often focus on the creatures that the world sees as monsters and instead reveal something deeply empathic and human within them.
Their approach rests on the heart of history rather than horror, a direction that Del Toro runs around for decades. He even tracked down his charm with the creature of a scene Billy Wilder’S The itching of the seven years.
“The first time I thought I was about to avenge the creature was when Marilyn Monroe will come out [of the movies] In the itching of the seven years with Tom Ewell, and she says that the creature only needed someone he liked.
“I fell in love with Marilyn and I fell in love with the creature in that scene at an early age. And I thought, you know, all we have are the people who look at people in the wrong way. This is what we have in this world.”
The story follows Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but selfish scientist who gives life to a creature in a monstrous experiment that eventually leads to the ruin of both the creator and his tragic creation.
It is explained that “most of the film, including this laboratory scene, takes place within the remains of structures once”.
Del Toro says: “Gothic romanticism was partially born for the charm of the ruins. Sometimes they are more beautiful than the complete building because it is the clash of creation and destruction”.
Del Toro had already said of the project: “It is a film that I wanted to make for 50 years since I saw the first Frankenstein. I had an epiphany, and it is basically a film that required a lot of growth and many tools that I could not have made 10 years ago. Now I am quite brave or crazy or something, and we will face it.”
Frankensteinstars Jacob Elordi As a monster, Oscar Isaac As Victor, My Goth (Maxxxine, the Odyssey) like Victor’s girlfriend, Elizabeth Lavenza; Christoph Waltz (Inglorious baster, Pinocchio di Del Toro) Like Dr. Septimus Pretorius, a former Professor of Victor who originated Bride of Frankenstein; Lars Mikkelsen (The Witcher, Ahsoka) as Captain Anderson, apparent substitute for captain Walton, leader of a journey of discovery to the northern pole; AND Ralph Inesion (Game of Thrones, The Fantastic Four: First Steps) Like Professor Kempre, who in the novel is a professor of natural philosophy described as “a man in a barrel, but deeply imbued in the secrets of his science”.
The film should debut on Netflix further this autumn. Look at the trailer and tell us what you think!
