Like the Andor The ending of season 2 closed the chapter on Cassian Andor’s journey, left a disturbing imprint with that emotional scene that showed Bix Caleen who cradles a child, left behind to bring the quiet inheritance of a man who would never have met his son or daughter.
Now, a new voice suggests that Lucasfilm may not be made with its history.
According to the interior Scooper Daniel Richtman, there are whispers Adria Arjona”S Bix could make a return in the future Star Wars project. There is no confirmation on when or where, but if true, it would mark a surprising continuation for a character who has moved away from the rebellion to grow a child in peace.
While Andor Season 2 has gone through the last four years of Cassian’s life and has brought its complete circle Rogue OneBix’s journey was more about survival and sacrifice. What started as a deep friendship has turned into romanticism, only for Bix to make the painful decision to let Cassian go so that he can fight without light from love.
The ending mentioned a future modeled by hope, even if he freed his heart. Tony GilroyThe creator of the show offered information on that ending:
“He does three things for me. He does exactly what you said: I think he makes his sacrifice much more bitter. And I think for anyone who has had doubts that Bix goes to episode nine, he explains it for anyone who was hesitant in buying that scene.
“And finally, in the end, I was desperate to end up with a note full of hope.” The rebellions are built on Hope “is not just a shirt, it is a legitimate flame that many people need to see. So I hope to end up on something that was optimistic, since it was important for me to do it.”
Adria Arjona He spoke of the fate of his character with such a weighting, saying:
“It is where he wants to be, and he hopes that Cassian will be good and well, and that one day they will meet.”
And while it has not been told what will come later, Arjona is open to continue the story if the opportunity is presented:
“Maybe, hopefully, a writer one day approaches me, and I’m like ‘hey, I know what happens’ [Bix and the baby]. They are fine, I hope. “
While Lucasfilm shifts his attention to the stories set Skywalker’s ascentThere is room to speculate. If Bix’s son survives in that temporal sequence, they would be an adult adult. There are fans of fans around like Poe Dameron could be his son, but I don’t like it.
Part of what he did Andor The resounded with fans was its founded purpose. There is something powerful in letting that last moment breathe, in not knowing what will happen later. Lucasfilm does not really need to immerse yourself in this.
However, if Lucasfilm has more to say on Bix, if they have another great story, and if Adria Arjona has returned to the race, perhaps it could work.
