John CarpenterThe 1981 cult classic is officially returning to its analog roots, and it is not only a game of nostalgia, but it is a collector’s dream.
The deputy press is falling Escape from New York Again on VHS this Thursday 15 May, and they are doing it with style. There are two editions, both full of retro charm and new fantastic works of art.
The first is a limited edition briefcase version, there are only 1,000 copies, with a tailored tape and a new art by Phantom City Creative. The second option is a collectible VHS Edition with a reversible coverage: one side presents the original theatrical poster, the other shows new works of art of the artist Matt Ferguson.
And if you have a video recorder who plays the PAL format, you are lucky! For those of us in the United States who only want art without the rewinder, Vice Press is releasing a creative poster of Phantom City will also be available separately as a 24 “x 36” lithography, with regular editions and variants, both limited to 250.
For fans who have always loved that original poster image Barry E. JacksonThere are other good news. The vice press has collaborated with Matt Ferguson To restore and release that iconic design as a 27 “x 40” lithography, again in a limited edition of 250.
