James Gunn’S Superman The restart is preparing to be exactly the type of new bold start for DC that Warner Bros. hoped, and the study has already seen enough to be excited.
According to the heads of the study Pam Abdy AND Mike De LucaGunn has delivered a version of Superman that affects the right emotional notes and the tone for what is destined to launch the next era of Storytelling DC.
As De Luca said during an apparition on the Podcast Smartless: “We saw a first cut of Superman, and I don’t want to bury the Lede, there is a lot of marketing to implement before its release, but it really understood the assignment”.
It is not a random compliment: it is a clear vote of trust from people who guide the Warner Bros. De Luca ship continued to say: “His heart is in the right place, his goal is true and we are really enthusiastic about their new version of DC”.
De Luca also reflected on Gunn’s cinematographic journey, saying: “I used to chase James [Gunn] as a manufacturer when he did it Slip And he started with his low budget movies. It is truly unique and I think DC is in big hands with the two of them. ”
The film is the protagonist David Corenswet Like Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan like Lois Lane, e Nicholas Hault Entering the role of Lex Lothor.
It will be the first official film of the new temporal sequence of the DC universe, giving way to chapter one: Gods and Monsters, a launch that in the end will include five films and five shows, including Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow AND The brave and the bold, Clay, Swamp ThingAnd more.
Gunn’s socket on Superman is designed to be a restoration with the heart, the purpose and, apparently, a strong understanding of what the character and fans deserve.
And with marketing soon to increase, it is sure to say that the man of steel is about to jump in the spotlight. Ready or not, the new DCU begins here.
