In a recent post on social media, the Superman Writer and director, James Gunnhe shared a new look EDI Gathegi Like Mr. Terrific, revealing the complete dress of the character and a bold “JL” logo on the chest.
The post went down to the hero’s anniversary, with Gunn added, “[Mr. Terrific] It has long been one of my favorite characters. “
Gunn is clearly banking on an excellent role in the DCU that goes on. Last December, he made fun of how central the superman character will be, saying:
“All these characters get their moment in the sun. They have all their moments. They are not just cameo, these are the characters.”
So he clarified: “They are supporting the cast, but Mr. Terrific is the main character of those characters. In reality he has a large part of the plot. And therefore it was fun.”
It is sure to assume that the character of Gathegi is part of a Justice League international managed by Maxwell Lord, although Gunn has yet to confirm whether that name or structure will appear on the screen. However, it will be interesting to see what Gunn has planned for the future of Mr. Terrific.

Superman He will tell the story of the “Superman journey to reconcile his Kryptonian inheritance with his human education as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.
“It is the incarnation of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as an old style.
“It is set in a world very different from ours and far from the DCEU. The heroes have been in circulation for years and we will see how it has influenced the history of this world and has shaped the DCU.”

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 11 July 2025.
