Review: Jada Toys Metalfigs and Street Fighter II Figures

Jada Toys recently released some new figures that seemed really fantastic. First of all, I will talk about some Scooby-doo Metalfigs that have an MSRP of $ 4.99 each. So, I will talk about some recent Street Fighter II Figures (1:12 scale) that have an MSRP of $ 25-30 each. You can find them in your favorite toy retailers. The team was so kind to send me champions for these figures, but all the thoughts below are mine.

First, let’s talk about the Scooby-doo Figures. You can get the entire gang and they are really fantastic. The metal figures are heavy and solid with fantastic painting works. I was sent a box that looked like the mysterious car (an added bonus!) That included all five characters.

Personally, I really like the metal paint used for most clothes, even if it is a little strange that Scooby is also metallic when the hair of all the others is an opaque paint. Another feature that I really like is that the arms and heads seem to be not metal for the four human characters. It only looks like a nice detail and a way to maintain a good skin tone.

It is important to note that these figures have no articulation and are really better served by decorative statues. Think of the cubiculus or the ornament of the desk. In my opinion it is certainly worth $ 5 each.

Now let’s talk about Street Fighter II. Figures have been sent to me for Camry White, Dee Jay and Guile. I was extra pumped because Camly is one of my favorite characters to play as in the franchise. First of all, the packaging is very fun as it is designed to resemble an arcade wardrobe.

So, the figures themselves seem really fantastic. For this article, I burst out Guile so that I could better examine the figure and overall I would say that it is really good and surely adapts to the price range. There are a lot of articulation points including the neck, the bust, the shoulders, the elbows, the wrists, the waist, the hip, the knee, the ankle and the thigh.

Some joints were a bit narrow and the ankle joint was probably the most difficult to position actually ok. I noticed some imperfections on one of the weapons, but from what I can say, this is more the exception of the rule. I will say that the real details on the figure are very well made.

The different plots for different materials, the painting work, all this was really well done. Honestly, it makes me want Jada to have a toy license Power Rangers At the moment.

Of course, like every good collector figure, each character is also provided with some accessories and I like them. For Guile, you get a comb, a necklace with its dog labels, two additional hands, an additional head with grilled teeth and a special effect that is supplied with a stand to adjust.

It is another level of detail to know which accessories to include and at the beginning I did not take the comb, but when I did it, I immediately remembered because it would have had it (one of his victory poses makes him escape a comb and retouch his hair).

At the end of the day, I think of these Street Fighter II The figures are fantastic and it is certainly worth taking for fans of the franchise. The price certainly seems right, so it’s about making sure they have a figure for your favorite characters.
