To the celebration of Star Wars this year, Dave Filoni surprised everyone, dropping the first real tease for Ahsoka Season 2.
He leaked online for a while before he was removed, and was a trailer for retro retro art concept art that gave fans to lose his head.
Filoni explained that George Lucas made a trailer Empire is hit Before even having filmed it, so of course, Filoni decided to do the same thing for the Ahsoka season 2.
It was a stylistic explosion of a coil of concept art frame with a classic style narrative that looks like a lost teaser of the 70s and was making fun of the epic laser sword, ancient Droid monsters and the continuous disordered AhsokaCliffhanger with deep space.
The concept trailer showed huge battles of fleet between the new republic and the growing power of the imperial residue, with Ezra Bridger completely suitable and ready for action together with X-Wing drivers.
In the meantime, in that other galaxy where Ahsoka and Sabine ended last season, things seem strange and dangerous in really interesting ways.
We take views of the duo that wanders through the ancient ruins, which lashes out against the Giant and decomposition guardians.
The narrative gave the tone, eliminating an epic clash:
“The imperial residue is gaining to power. Who will be able to stop them? In the continuation of the Star Wars series, our heroes face enemies in two different galaxies while fighting the forces of evil.
“During the Odyssey, let’s go back to old friends … and we fight the ancient machines from a dark and terrible past. Culminating in a fantastic clash between Ahsoka Tano and the Knight Jedi Fallen, Baylen Skoll.”
The trailer also made fun of David Tennant’s Huyang in front of Shin Hati, showing off a very serious move by dividing his arms into four and turning on more plates.
Chopper then shows up with a repeater cannon and only starts jumping. Oh, and then there is Zeb, who officially returned and joins his old rebellious crew for further actions.
There was also a confirmation game of Thrones alum Rory McCann will take on the role of Baylan Skoll, intervening for the deceased, great Ray Stevenson. In addition, Admiral Ackbar is becoming hot for a head -to -head against Thrawn. And then there is Hayden Christensen who comes back like Anakin Skywalker.
Ahsoka Season 1 gave us eight episodes of meetings of Legacy characters, magic of the wild space and long -awaited arrival of the Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action. I can’t see all this life for season 2!
