Rory McCann officially replaces Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka season 2; First glance revealed

During the exciting Ahsoka Panel to the celebration of Star Wars, Dave Filoni confirmed itgame of Thrones FAVING ACTOR FAIRS BY FAN Rory McCann He is officially entering the role of Baylan Skoll for season 2.

The late Ray Stevensonwho gave birth to Skoll in the first season, he died in 2023 and Filoni faced the emotional weight of continuing the arc of the character without him.

Filoni did not rush into the decision and we could hear the heaviness in what he said while reflecting at work with Stevenson.

“It was particularly a great challenge because of Ray’s loss,” he said. “Ray was the most beautiful person on the screen and out.”

He continued, “it was a challenge for me also to consider the possibility of continuing for a while. But I have an excellent support group with Jon [Favreau] AND Rosary [Dawson]. And I found a way and I had Ray on my head.

“AND [I’m] Grateful for all those conversations with him on Baylan, so I understood what to do. It just took a while to get there. But I am very confident now that Ray would be happy with the direction of the character we have chosen. “

That character, as fans know now, will be played by McCann, better known as The Hound of game of Thrones. During the panel an image was shown before McCann like Baylan Skoll, which you can see above.

McCann looks like a great choice for the character as he is a strong actor who has an imposing screen presence and a gritty intensity that he will lead to the character.
