For many fans, wearing Batsuit would be a dream become reality, but for Ben AffleckIt was more like a nightmare wrapped in neoprene.
While Affleck’s mandate like Dark Knight has gone through multiple films and many titles, the actor has now revealed the only part of being Batman who could not really bear … Betsuit.
In a recent interview GQ, Affleck opened his time in the hood, a role he took for the first time Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and continued in Justice League, Suicide Squad, The flashAND Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Although the elements of the experience appreciates, in particular the most mature and tired version of Bruce Wayne introduced Batman V Superman There was one thing that never sat with him.
“I hated batteries,” Hiffleck said in no uncertain terms. “The Batsuits are hideous to wear, they are incredibly hot, they don’t breathe, they are made to look like they want they look at.
“There is no thought put in the human being [inside of it]So what happens is that you start sweating. I sweat, I put myself hot, in that thing, you start to pour water because there is a hood on it. “
“One thing is to wear the dress, once you cover your head, I imagine that it is there that all your heat flee and feel it. Even the most highly trained acrobatic guys and much more fit, they could do it for about 45, 50 minutes, and then they will have a heat stroke.
“It was really the thing: it made it difficult to make the film because it was so hot. Furthermore it does not make you feel very heroic, because you are immediately exhausted and really sweaty and try to hide the sweat that will pour you on your face.
“Maybe Christian [Bale] OR [Robert Pattinson] They were only better to face it, but I found it the least fun part of it. “
For anyone who grew up dreaming of becoming Batman, this is the type of reality control. Affleck’s comments cut the glamor that we associate with the cloak and hood, especially if we consider that even the professionals of acrobatics were touching under the heat.
It is not the first time that he joked on the side far from convening the suit while once Christian Bale advises him to ask for a hinge for the bathroom breaks, but this interview really brings home how brutal he was physically brutal.
While Affleck’s times in the DC universe have finished, another actor will enter the role and better to be prepared for some physical tortures.
