We are still outside a year from The Mandalorian and the Gogu Hitting the theaters, but at the celebration of Star Wars in Japan, Lucasfilm left a peek at the outgoing film, and it seems that the force is very strong with this.
Set after the events of The Mandalorian Season 3, this marks the first Star Wars Movies since 2019 Skywalker’s ascentAnd he promises to be something to be great, cinematographic and burst with the type of energy that we expect from Mando and his adorable strength.
Jon FavreauWho is writing and directing the film, he got on stage together with the manufacturer Dave Filoni and President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy To reveal the movie.
He kicks off in the belly of an AT-AT. We follow the soldiers who prepare for the battle, the camera launches through the chaos … until the door on the back will open.
Enter Din Djarin.
We see him tear the soldiers … explosion, launch of flames, whisk with pure tactical chaos. Twelve soldiers, the shot ends on their commander, who can only swallow.
So: boom. The entire AT-AT (one of the three, now with a redesigned appearance, similar to a bug) explodes and falls from a snowy cliff. The other two walkers Marciano.
Then cut to Sigourney Weaver As a new leader of the Republic. She murmurs dryly, “disordered. Very disordered”. It is sitting at a table with Mando and Grogu, and while talking, Gogu tries to scroll through the snacks. This is our kid.
“Work for us,” says Weaver, while the shots flash by Razor Crest -style flight scenes, a short look at Zeb from Star Wars RebelsAnd I send that studies a disturbing and dark corridor in which he discovers a droid fallen with the light of the helmet.
Other extraordinary moments include a brutal combat of bars, Gogu Swimming, I send and grogu on a smaller walker that runs under the AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT and a hilarious scene with a mouse of mouse made on off-road wheels … Gogu stops him with strength, falls to pieces and one of the wheels.
The final shot is a massage route that the Hutt as gladiator in a crowded arena, with Gogu Smack in the middle of the crowd, randomly sneaking the popcorn. It is the type of chaotic and absurd image that adapts perfectly to the evolution tone of the series.
The confirmed cast also includes Pedro Pascal,AND Jeremy Allen WhiteWith greater probability of being revealed as we approach.
The Mandalorian and the Gogu They connect cinemas on 22 May 2026. The video is already leaked online, but we will deal with sharing it until the official trailer decreases. It’s easy to find if you want to look at it, though.
Until then … this looks like a wild journey to the outer edge.
