AMC published the first trailer for his next Nautilus series, inspired by Jules Verneiconic novel 20,000 championships under the sea.
The series of 10 episodes tells the origin of Captain Nemo: an Indian prince robbed his right of birth and his family, a prisoner of the merchant company of Eastern India and a man intending to take revenge against the forces that have taken everything.
The series looks fantastic and stars Shazad Latif, Georgia Flood, Thierry FremontAND Céline Menvillewith guest appearances from Richard and Grant, Anna TorvAND Noah Taylor.
The project was developed by Moonriver TV and seven stories, the British drama of adventure was created and written by James Dormer (Hit) and produced by Cameron Welsh (Ash vs Evil Dead, Constantine)
Michael Matthews (Love and monsters) directed the first four episodes, with Ben C. Lucas(The savages) AND Isabelle Sieb (The hour of the devil) Helming the remaining six.
The CEO of Moonriver Xavier Marchand and the CEO of Seven Stories Anand Tucker have shared in a declaration: “We are so excited to present the epic adventures of Captain Nemo and his legendary submarine The Nautilus together with the other incredible AMC universes.
“The series will bring the spectators to a breathtaking journey with Nemo and its crew, fighting terrifying creatures and the dark forces of the British Empire.”
Nautilus Started as a Disney+ series but it was set aside after the production wrapped in an effort to reduce costs until AMC came to the rescue. He made his debut on the video first in the United Kingdom and Ireland in October.
Nautilus Premiere June 29th on AMC.
