Jennifer Love Hewitt (I almost can’t wait, 9-1-1) shared some photos of first look from his next sequel, I know what you did last summerA third film in the franchise.
Back to the original co-protagonist Freddie Prinze Jr.which is also described in one of the photos. Another photo includes some of the young cast members in the film. The cast includes Chase on wonder, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Haur-King, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols AND Cage.
The synopsis of the film Slasher recites:
“When five friends inadvertently cause a fatal car accident, they cover their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past returns to persecute them and are forced to confront each other with a horrible truth: someone knows what they did last summer … and it is a hell of revenge.
“Like one by one, friends are persecuted by a killer, they discover that it happened before and turn to two survivors at the legendary Southport massacre in 1997 to ask for help.”
It looks like the original with a new new cast. I’m sure he will offer a fun awakening for fans of the genre. See the new photos below and look I know what you did last summer When he arrives in cinemas on July 18, 2025.
