Kevin Feige confirms that more casting is coming for Avengers: Doomsday

Marvel fans have some tasty crumbs today thanks to Kevin Feigewho broadcast via video at Cinemacon to share a small (but significant) update on Avengers: Doomsday.

That’s where Feige confirmed two key things: filming is about to start and the complete cast list is still in the phase. He said: “The complete cast has not yet been revealed.”

That phrase launches the door to all types of speculation on who else will join the film, in particular with the recent voices that swing on the big names still in the interviews. It is not uncommon for these agreements to meet late in the game and Feige knows exactly how to keep fans on tiptoe.

With the cameras about to roll, Marvel has the opportunity to lengthen the Hype cycle by revealing new additions to Cast in waves. If those names that are said are accurate, it will be a wild race that leads to the release.
