Last November, winner of the Academy Prize Denzel Washington revealed in an interview that had a role written for him in the next Black panther III. It was an obvious brief, that I am sure that the way Marvel planned that he announced this, but Washington left the shot out of the bag and did not seem too worried about it.
Since then, we really heard the producer of Marvel Nate Moore of the casting a couple of months ago, when he said they were working on who his character would be. Now, the Black panther Director of the trilogy, Ryan Coogler He is talking about Washington who joins the ensemble, telling the guests of the Nightcap Podcast:
“I am dying to work with Denzel and I hope we can make it happen. I had every intention of working with him in that film and as long as he is interested – it will happen.”
Coogler praised Washington, calling him a “living legend and a great mentor”, adding, “it’s all to look for us”. After Sharpe asked the director how long we had to wait Black panther 3Coogler said: “Not long”.
I can’t wait to see who will play Denzel Washington. Nate Moore said Washington will probably play someone from Canon. Who do you think it could be?
