Disney+ Korea has released the trailer for a new medical thriller entitled Hyper Knifewhich focuses on a dishonest neurosurgeon that performs illegal surgical interventions by facing its dark past. It looks like a really nice show!
The story follows Dr. Jung Se-Ok (Park Eun-Bin), “A brilliant but dishonored neurosurgeon obsessed with a past tragedy. Dogged of his medical license, he resorts to perform illegal interventions in the shadows, led by an insatiable thirst to push the boundaries of neuroscience.
“But when his path crosses his former mentor, the famous but enigmatic Dr. Choi Deok-Hee (On the kyung-gu), the old wounds are reopened and a dangerous game of power and revenge follows.
“As Se-Ok deepens the revolutionary but ethically questionable procedures, he is preparing with the moral consequences of his actions, leading to the boundaries between medical needs and personal ambition.”
The series comes from the director Kim Jung-HyunAnd now he is streaming on Hulu in the United States.
