A24 has published a new featurette for the next war thriller Warwhich was co-director from Alex Garland (Civil war) and the veteran of the war in Iraq Ray Mendozawho is telling his stories from his memory of as he was in the middle of madness.
The video presents the interview with the cast and the crew while talking about giving life to this story on the big screen. It includes movies behind the scenes and some real movies of the film.
I love this type of film and this is one of my most awaited of the year. It seems fantastic and according to the first reactions that have sailed the film will offer a visceral and intense experience.
The film also takes place in real time and is “based on the experiences of the real life of the former Navy Ray Mendoza as a soldier during the war in Iraq. Mendoza joined the Navy in 1997 and served for over 16 years as a member of the Team 5 of Seal 5 and a deduass of war of terrestrial war and bud/s instructor.
“He was assigned a silver star” for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy while served as the main communicator, Naval Special Warfare Task Unit-Ramadi, in direct support of the Iraqi Freedom operation on November 19, 2006. “

The film has a great cast of ensemble that includes Will Poulter, D’Araone woon-a-tai, Cosmo Jarvis, Connor kit, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, Michael Gandolfini, Joesph Quinn AND Charles Melton.
It seems that it offers a hardcore and honest representation of the war and devil cross these soldiers.
War It is co-scripted and co-director from Garland and Mendoza. Mendoza was the military councilor who also worked on Garland Civil war. The film will land in the cinemas at the beginning of 2025.
