Here is a fascinating video of the YouTube channel PBS that explores because people who experience sleep paralysis see the man of the Shadow hat.
I experimented a little the sleep paralysis when I was a child and since then I had an experience for the first time, and it was damn terrifying. But I’ve never seen the man of the hat. I saw a shady figure with red red eyes and a monstrous woman in white, but never the man of the hat.
The video is provided with the following note: “Countless people claim to have seen the man of the hat-a dark figure in a large–handed-tentre tense hat experience sleep paralysis, bringing an overwhelming sense of terror.
“Why so many people, over time and through different cultures, report the same disturbing encounter? Is it a neurological technical problem or something more?”
I have no idea why it happens or what the hell means, but it is always a horrible experience.
