The retro trailer of this week is for the horror comedy of the 1987 film. This is a low budget film that tries to capitalize on the success of Gremlins With its brand of blue -sized billkish creatures.
The film was directed by Tina Hirsch and the film follows an archaeologist, Simon Watterman, who discovers a small alien creature apparently harmless to Peru.
He takes him home to the United States, where his flat son and the greedy bad, Cecil Watterman are involved. When the creature, nicknamed Arnold, is mistreated and cut in half, each cut piece regenerates into a completely format new monster.
These newly generated Muncies develop an insatiable appetite for destruction and chaos, transforming the quiet city into their personal playground of chaos.
The film is a Campy and ironic film full of slap humor, special cheese effects and an self -conscious tone that leans heavily on its absurd premise. Unlike Gremlinsthat balances the horror and the heart, Muncies It is more focused on nonsense buffering and exaggerated situations.
It is a favorite favorite of the B-Movies Schlockky fans, and I have always liked its low budget charm.
