The Marvel film universe loves its Nanotech. Over the years, we have seen it perfectly suitable for Iron Man, Black Panther, Spider-Man and more. So almost every hero has a Nanotech helmet. But should Daredevil also get the Nanotech update?
Actor Charlie Coxwho is preparing to return as Daredevil Daredevil: born againIt was put on the spot on this question.
During an interview with Screen Rant, Cox sat with Co-Star Vincent d’Onofrio (Pin) when the topic of Nanotech helmets emerged. The interviewer urged Cox to promise that he would never let Daredevil’s signature receive the treatment of nanotechnology, even if the Avengers offered him. Cox, slightly amused, replied with a simple:
“Okay, why?”
The interviewer argued that there is an emotional weight when Daredevil physically removes his mask, something that would be lost if yes “is only unaginanist”. D’Onofrio immediately supported that feeling:
“I think you’re right. This is a good point. “
Cox, recognizing the topic, underlined that road level heroes as Daredevil intrinsically include the practicality of their equipment. But before he could make the bold promises, D’Onofrio jumped into a warning:
“Don’t make promises that you can’t keep.”
Cox took a beat and, with a smile, offered a humorous counterpoint that said:
“I will say it, however, what you can’t see is sometimes when that [helmet] It comes out, it’s a bad day of hair. “
I am not a fan of the unrecious elesments in the MCU in general. It is annoying when they move constantly and turns off. Also, if Hero ever runs around with a Nanotech helmet, why don’t they all have nanotech seeds?
It is not a secret that fans of the MCU have contrasting feelings on the abuse of Nanotech. Of course, he adds practicality and elegant visual elements, but it is only a little ridiculous.
With Daredevil: born again Aiming for a smallest approach to street level, it will be interesting to see if Marvel keeps things on the ground or if Hell’s Kitchen also receives the treatment of nanotechnology.
What do you think? Should Daredevil stay old school or is there room for high -tech update?
Daredevil: born again Premiere on Disney+ March 4, 2025.
