Wilson Fisk is apparently keeping an eye on Spider-Man. In Daredevil: born again, Vincent d’OnofrioThe pivot makes a direct reference to the web-Slinger, adding fuel fuel of the fans who hope for an adequate crossover between Spidey and the man without fear.
During an interview with Jake’s Take, D’Onofrio revealed that in the second episode of the series, Kingpin mentions “a child dressed as a spider”.
Even if we do not yet have a full context, it is quite clear that Spider-Man is active and oscillates in New York City, and his smasher mayor if aware of him.
Obviously, this is not the first time that Spider-Man and Daredevil have gone through paths in the MCU. You will remember Charlie CoxS Matt Murdock who provides a legal consultant to Peter Parker (Tom Holland) In Spider-Man: No Way Home. That moment was short, but he created the connection between the two road level heroes.
In comics, the dynamics of these characters has been explored for decades. Their conflicting styles such as Spidey’s agility and wisdom against brutal precision and meditabondo behavior of Daredevil would have been a great team in the MCU while fighting Crime’s Kingpin and the mayor of New York City, Wilson Fisk.
So what are the possibilities that this actually happens? With Daredevil: born again Arriving on Disney+ March 4th, we will soon discover how deep this Spider-Man connection goes.
Until then, I will keep my fingers crossed for a full -blown crossover. Marvel Studios would be stupid not to make it happen.
