How to train your Dragon Start States Live-Action adaptation will feel “much more frightening” of the animated version

Now that we have seen the trailer and some videos behind the scenes from the live-action adaptation of How to train your dragonFans are exciting themselves for what this version has to offer.

It seems that the creators have given life the Viking world of dragons in such a breathtaking way, but the star of franchise Gerard Butler He says that the new film will also take place “much more frightening” and dark than the animated versions of history.

Butler explained in an interview with The Direct that this film is more frightening for its “engaging” nature, also praising the film as “so surprising and powerful”.

Butler had previously expressed Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast, in the first three films, and now, he will give life to the same character in life. He has widely praised the film, saying:

“I just saw a rough cut. So there were really special effects of 20%. And I have goosebumps when I think about it. It was so surprising and so powerful. And then you see parts in which they are closer to being made and the jaw goes down.

“And the best way to describe it is, I made three of those films for many years, and I have always wondered, I love animated films, but I have always wondered: ‘God, and if it were real? What if we really were there, real people, true dragons? And we had the opportunity to do it, to make it real. And I think it’s one of the main differences.

“When a dragon is setting fire to a pile of real Viking men and women who run, it seems much more frightening than when he was animated. You have a little more that you can distance themselves, but this seems much more involved and immersive …

“I am so enthusiastic about seeing how it is over because I think that every second it will be precious.”

I think Butler is a big fan of the franchise like the rest of us, and it seems that this film will be a new great version of the stories originating in the books of the author Cressida Cowell.

The film is the protagonist Tamigi Mason (The black phone) like the young Viking sob, Nico Parker (The last of us) as astrid, Gerard Butler Like Stoick the Vasto, the leader of the Viking clan and the father of Hiccup, e Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot fuzz) as Viking named Gobber the Belch, the trusted friend and Councilor of Stoick.

The film comes from the director Dean Debloiswho directed all three animated films together with the co-regista Chris Sanders In the first film.
