Jet Li’s Hong Kong Martiat Arts Action The Classics get the 4K update they deserve

Jet thereThe Hong Kong action classics are receiving 4K treatment, thanks to a new agreement with Shout! Studies. Five of his most popular films including Fista of the legend (1994), Tai who master (1993), Legend (1993), Legend 2 (1993) e Beijing’s bodyguard (1994) He will hit digital platforms on February 18th.

I liked to watch these jet li films and it is quite beautiful that fans have the opportunity to experience these martial arts masterpieces in a new way.

These films show them at the height of his career and the collection reminds the reason why he became a global action icon. He declared them in a statement: “Fans of cinema can now easily enjoy these fun films in splendid 4K on various digital platforms.

“I hope that a new generation of public will be introduced to these classics of action that take a look at the talent of directors, writers, actors, acrobatics and crew that come from the rich history of Hong Kong cinema.”

This new distribution agreement gives a cry! Studios Worldwide Rights (with exceptions in China, United Kingdom and Indonesia), which cover everything, from physical media to streaming platforms.

The films will be available individually and as a digital package, exclusively on Apple TV and Fandango at home. This marks the first time that these titles have been officially packaged together in a version.

This move comes as part of Shout! The largest efforts of Studios to report the classic Hong Kong cinema in the spotlight. They recently acquired rights to the Golden Princess Film Library, a large collection of 156 films by Hong Kong which have been difficult to access the western markets for years.

With other announcements scheduled in the coming months, including potential special characteristics and promotional events, this 4K output is only the beginning of a awakening so necessary for the Hong Kong Action cinema.

For fans and new longtime arrivals, this is a great opportunity to attend some of the best martial arts cinemas ever put on the screen, now in clarity 4K.
