Brown Savoy Jasmineappeared in the last two Cry film is returning to the horror franchise with Screams 7and will return to play Mindy Meeks-Martin.
Brown joins Mason Gooding, who plays Mindy’s brother, Chad. The film is also the protagonist Neve Campbellwho reprises her role as Sidney in the film and will be joined by her Courteney Coxwho has officially ended his deal to reprise his role as Gale Weathers.
The film’s new cast members include Joel McHale as Sidney’s husband, Isabel May, Freemason Gooding, McKenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor AND Asa Germann.
It is said that the next chapter of Cry will involve a “big time jump” after the events of the last film. This is how Sidney’s children grew up to the appropriate age for slasher films.
It had already been said previously Screams 7 “will have two main plots, one about Sid and his neighborhood friends, and the second about Taylor, Sid’s teenage daughter (could be a code name) and her friends. Each of them will have to deal with Ghostface.”
Sid and Gale will reportedly face some sort of Ghostface cult.
Screams 7 is directed by Kevin Williamson and will be released on February 27, 2026.
