Actor Lee Jung Jaewho is best known for his roles in Squid game AND The Acolytehe is said to be in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an undisclosed role. Industry scooper MTTSH makes the claim (via CBM), but there are no other details on who might be in line to play.
There’s also the possibility that he hasn’t been offered any specific hero or villain roles at this point. Chief Marvel Kevin Feige he is known to approach actors he wants to work with without having a particular character in mind, and it’s also possible that Jung-jae was given the choice between several roles.
This isn’t actually the first time the actor has been rumored for a Marvel part, as he was rumored to be in talks to play Mr. Negative in Sony’s SSU last year, though clearly nothing ever came of it .
