Actors Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Oliver Hudson (Share together), Jameela Jamil (The good place), Pierson Fode (Based on a true story), AND Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the teenage witch) have signed on to star A cheerful little ex-masa Netflix Christmas romantic comedy from the director Steve Carr (Nursery for dad).
In the film, written by Holly Hester (The royal treatment), a recently separated couple attempts to spend one last Christmas with their children before the wife sells the family home to move out and start over. But complications arise when the husband brings his gorgeous new girlfriend into the holiday mix.
Melissa Joan Hart and Paula Hart will produce for Hartbreak Films, with Silverstone serving as executive producer.
It seems like one of your typical holiday rom-coms, but at least the Netflix ones generally have better story quality than the Hallmark ones. And this cast is pretty funny too. There is no information on production or release dates, but I guess we can expect to see A cheerful little ex-mas on Netflix this time next year.
