The chainsaw man is getting a movie and Studio MAPPA just released a teaser trailer for the shounen anime film, which is titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
The chainsaw man it’s one of the most ridiculously crazy shows and the energy is just explosive! I love how absolutely crazy it is and there is no doubt that the film will be a blast!
The film’s description reads: “Denji has become ‘Chainsaw Man,’ a boy with an evil heart, and is now part of the devil hunters of Special Division 4. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes refuge from rain.
“There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a bar. An extravagant bloody battle involving love and desire, humans and devils, is coming to the big screens!”
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is directed by Tatsuya Yoshiharawith the original story written and illustrated in The chainsaw man author’s mangarTatsuki Fujimoto.
The screenwriter also worked on the film Hiroshi Sekocharacter designer Kazutaka Sugiyamaand assistant director Masato Nakazono.
The cast includes talents such as Kikunosuke Toya, Shiori Izawa, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, Fairouz Ai, Reina Uedaand more.
While no exact release date has been given yet, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be available to watch in theaters in 2025.
