SUPERMAN Teaser Trailer Becomes Biggest WB/DC Trailer Ever

THE Superman the teaser is flying at unprecedented levels. In just the first two days of its release, it broke records, which signals an extraordinary level of excitement for James Gunnof the Man of Steel’s vision.

Gunn, who is both the film’s writer-director and co-head of DC Studios, shared the news of the milestone with fans on social media, revealing that in its first 24 hours, the teaser had over 250 million views and inspired more than a million social media posts.

Gunn proudly announced, “It’s the most watched and talked about trailer in the history of both DC and Warner Bros. […] Thank you! We are incredibly grateful and, above all, excited to share this film with you in July.”

For context, some other recent successes have failed to match this level of buzz. THE Joker: Folie a Deux the trailer had 167 million views on its first day, while Pixar’s Inside out 2 the teaser reached 157 million views last November.

Even with these impressive numbers, they pale in comparison Supermanthe trailer of. However, the all-time high still belongs to Deadpool and Wolverine teaser, which reached 365 million views earlier this year.

The enthusiasm that surrounds the new Superman the film reflects years of pent-up demand for a new take on the iconic hero.

Now, with David Corenswet upon entering the cape, every detail, from the casting to the dress design, sparked discussion and curiosity. Add the intrigue of Gunn’s reimagined DC Universe, and it’s no surprise that Superman’s return is dominating fan conversations.

The film is set to re-establish Superman as a central figure in the DC Cinematic Universe. If the record-breaking success of the teaser is any indication, audiences are more than ready to see the Man of Steel fly again.
