HBO has released the first teaser trailer for The White Lotus Season 3, whose story is set in Thailand. It comes with the slogan: “Seeking peace can be a journey.”
In the teaser it says, “Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure. But they get there only to find more pain. Not much is known about the plot, but we do know that it involves a multigenerational group that includes a patriarch, a female business executive, an actress, a pair of mothers including a country club wife, a misfit, and a yogi.
Creator Mike White he said that the third season would be “big in scale”. White Lotus. It will be longer, bigger, crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I’m super excited, so at least by my barometer, it’s a good thing… I’m super excited about the content of the season.”
Season 3 cast includes Natasha Rothwell returning together with the new arrivals Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Cristiano Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Nicola Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Scott Glenn AND Lisa Manobal.
The White Lotus was created, written and directed by White and is executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
