Elizabeth Olsen is set to star alongside Julia Roberts in the upcoming thriller from Warner Bros. Panic carefullywhich is directed by Mr. Robot Creator Sam Email from a screenplay he wrote.
The film is described as “a paranoid thriller in the vein of Esmail’s Emmy and Golden Globe-winning film Mr. Robotas well as The Silence of the Lambs.” There are no story details to share, but I’m intrigued.
Warner Bros. acquired the film project after a heated bidding war with other studios and streaming services. The film reunites Esmail with Roberts, who worked together on the apocalyptic thriller Leave the World Behind.
Production on the project will begin in England in January.
Olsen recently starred opposite him Carrie Coon AND Natasha Lyonne In His three daughtersNetflix’s family drama. She was also the protagonist of the Max miniseries Love and deathas ax murderer Candy Montgomery, as well as Disney+’s WandaVision.
He will also star in the upcoming sci-fi drama The evaluationin which he acts opposite Alicia Vikander and A24 Eternitya romantic comedy that she executive produced.
