The fantasy book series Fairytale paradise will receive a film adaptation thanks to Angel Studios and Haven Films, who will produce, develop and distribute the film.
The film will introduce viewers to “a world of hidden magical creatures and ancient secrets that readers know well. The story follows siblings Kendra and Seth Sorenson, who visit their grandfather’s mansion, which serves as a protected preserve for mythical creatures.
When their grandfather is kidnapped by goblins, “the brothers embark on a journey to rescue him while a witch named Muriel plots the release of a powerful demon named Bahamut, which could lead to the end of the world.”
The book series comes from the author Brandon Mulland the film is directed by Cameron Sawyer (Tim Timmerman: America’s Hope). The film will focus on the first book in the series with plans to develop all five books for the big screen.
Sawyer said in a statement: “We are beyond thrilled to partner with Angel Studios to bring Brandon Mull’s beloved book series to life. What excites us most about this collaboration is that we have the freedom to stay true to the book, which is a rare privilege today.”

The film adaptation is in the early stages of pre-production and preparing to begin filming in late summer 2025, with a release expected in 2026.
