Lionsgate released a behind-the-scenes featurette for John Wick spin-off films Dancerand teases a “crazy” flamethrower scene he made Ana de Armas scream.
While filming that scene he explained why, saying, “The flamethrower scene is crazy. I think I burned 106 people. I only cried with the first guy. With the other 105, I was fine.”
The featurette offers action-packed new footage along with interviews with cast and crew members. The actress said:
“I was excited. I was nervous. I was worried. I’m actually surprised I made it out in one piece. The way fights are built, you have to be prepared for whatever they throw at you. It was a kind of discipline, physical and mental, that I didn’t know before.”
It looks like it’s going to be a really bad action movie that will have the same caliber of action as the John Wick movies.
The film is set between John Wick 3 AND John Wick 4and the story focuses on a young assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family.
The film is also the protagonist Angelica Huston, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Gabriel Byrneand the delay Lance Reddick also star with Ian McShane AND Keanu Reeves.
Dancer will be released in June 2025.
