Chris Evans is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has joined the cast of Joe AND Antonio Russo’S Avengers: Judgment Day. So, it seems like the rumors that the actor has signed for these films are true.
While it’s not confirmed who he’ll be playing, it’s safe to assume he’ll be reprising his role as Steven Rogers. The report says so Anthony MackieSam Wilson’s character will also return as Captain America, and will see Rogers return with his cap. the costume is “less likely.”
It’s no surprise to me that Evans returns to play Rogers Avengers: Judgment Day AND Secret Wars considering the stories these films are inspired by in the comics.
It was previously reported that several original MCU characters will return in the next two Avengers films. Just wait until you see the formation of these characters! There will be some surprises that you don’t expect, and there are things in Doomsday that will blow fans away.
As you know, Robert Downey Jr. will play Doctor Doom in the Avengers films, and he will definitely put these heroes through hell.
It was also previously confirmed that the new The Fantastic Four team of Pedro Pasquale, Joseph Quinn, Vanessa Kirby AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach they will also star in Avengers: Doomsday. This is also not surprising, given that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will introduce Doctor Doom to the MCU.
Kevin Feige said previously: “Finally, [we’re] bringing Marvel’s First Family into the MCU. They’ll wrap up next week, the movie comes out next summer, and then all those characters will go right into the next Avengers movies, so I’m very excited for the future of the Fantastic Four.
Avengers: Judgment Day will be released in theaters on May 1, 2026. The Russos did it Avengers: Secret Wars it will happen in May 2027.
