Asa Germannwho appeared in The Boys and its spin-off series Gen V, has joined the cast of Screams 7. Germann joins an ensemble that also includes Neve Campbell, Celeste O’ConnorAND Isabel Maywho will play Sidney Prescott’s daughter.
There’s no word on who Germann will play in the film, there’s a good chance he’ll be one of the younger characters who find themselves brutally killed by Ghostface.
The next chapter of Scream will involve a “big time jump” after the events of the last film. This is how Sidney’s children grew up to the appropriate age for slasher films.
It had already been said previously Screams 7 “will have two main plots, one about Sid and his neighborhood friends, and the second about Taylor, Sid’s teenage daughter (could be a code name) and her friends. Each of them will have to deal with Ghostface.”
Sid and Gale will reportedly face some sort of Ghostface cult. Courteney Cox will return as Gale Weathers, and Patrick Dempsey as Detective Mark Kincaid.
Cry creator and writer Kevin Williamson is set to lead Scream VII AND Guy Busickwriter of 2022 Cry AND Scream VIhe’s writing the screenplay.
