Toho Next has released the first teaser trailer for a feature-length anime film titled Lupine the Third: The Movie. “You don’t know the real Lupine III yet. The legendary world-traveling master thief, Lupine III, makes a spectacular return to the screen!”
The film was directed by Takeshi Koike (Lupine III: Fujiko’s Lie, Red line) produced by the Telecom Animation Film studio, with a screenplay by Yuya Takahashi (Lupine third part IV) and music by James Shimoji (Red line). Katsuhito Ishii (Red line original creator) serves as creative consultant and TOHO NEXT will distribute the film.
Confirmed cast members include Lupine III voiced by Kanichi KuritaDaisuke Jigen voiced by Akio OtsukaGoemon Ishikawa voiced by Daisuke NamikawaFujiko Mine voiced by Miyuki Sawashiroand Inspector Zenigata voiced by Koichi Yamadera.
Toho Next will release Lupine the Third: The Movie in theaters in a roadshow in 2025.
