There’s another terrible looking Popeye inspired horror movie on the way titled Chills Me Lumber. This movie doesn’t look good in any way.

Thanks to the success of low-budget horror films like Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, we’re seeing more and more of these kinds of classic children’s stories get the low-budget horror film treatment, and they get worse and worse. .

This film is described as a “vulgar and gory slasher” and Stephen Murphy will play the title character, with William Stead on board as director.

The synopsis reads: “Olive Oyl, her brother Castor and her friends go camping to see the meteor shower with Halley’s Comet. But the night turns to horror when a meteor transforms Popeye into an unstoppable killing machine.

“With exciting ’80s slasher references and comedic twists, the film combines elements of horror and comedy in a fresh take on both genres.
