“I’m here to save the day!” Paramount Animation is bringing Powerful mouse on the big screen in a big animated adventure film and Ryan Reynolds he is producing through his Maximum Effort Productions.
Paramount Animation also hired the screenwriter Matt Liebermannwho worked with Reynolds on the 2021 fantasy adventure film Free boyto write the screenplay.
Mighty Mouse is a classic animated superhero character created by Terrytoons in 1942. The character was originally conceived as a parody of Superman and the hero is an anthropomorphic mouse with superpowers, including super strength, flight and invincibility.
Mighty Mouse is always ready to save the day with his catchphrase: “I’m here to save the day!” His adventures often involve saving his fellow mice from various dangers, typically caused by evil cats.
There have been attempts to get a Might Mouse movie off the ground and developed for years. But there’s a good chance this will actually get done with Reynolds and Maximum Effort involved.
This movie could be a lot of fun if it were actually made with the right creative team with the right vision.
