Sylvester Stallone signs deal for two more seasons of TULSA KING

It seems Taylor Sheridan’S King of Tulsa will continue with at least two more seasons as protagonist and executive producer Sylvester Stallone is finalizing a new deal to return to the hit Paramount+ drama series for seasons 3 and 4.

Deadline explained that Stallone will receive a raise from the $1.5 million per episode he was paid in season two, up from $750,000 per episode in season one.

King of Tulsa it was a great show, and it was a really strong project and a fantastic character for Stallone to play. According to the report, Tulsa King could go beyond four seasons, with spin-offs also possible.

In the series, Stallone plays New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi, and the story follows the mobster who is forced to move to the most unlikely place: Tulsa, Oklahoma, after spending 25 years in prison after being exiled without much ceremony from his boss.

The mobster faces the daunting task of re-establishing his Italian mafia family in the modernized, straight-talking city of Tulsa. There, Sal meets surprising and unsuspecting characters who follow him along his unconventional path to power.

In season two, Stallone’s Dwight “works with his team to combat looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a powerful local businessman.

“Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business in New York.

The series comes from the writer Terenzio Invernoand is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios for Paramount+ and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
