A24 has released a second trailer for Nicole Kidmannthe next erotic thriller Girland like the first trailer, this one too gives off all the seductive and sizzling vibes.
The film is said to examine “power dynamics and sexuality in the workplace.” It tells the story of a powerful CEO (Kidman) “who begins an illicit affair with a much younger and more charismatic intern (Harris Dickinson).”
Antonio Banderas also stars in the film and will play Kidman’s character’s husband, while Sophie Wilde (Talk to me) will play an assistant “watching the date unfold.” The film is also the protagonist Jean Reno (The Big Blue).
It comes from the writer and director Halina Reijnwho previously directed the horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies. It’s pretty clear that this movie isn’t going to end well for anyone.
2AM’s David Hinojosa will produce alongside Reijn of MAN UP Film and A24, which is financing the project. 2AM’s Julia Oh, Zach Nutman and Christine D’Souza Gelb will serve as executive producers.
This is the second collaboration between Halina Reijn and A24 after her satirical slasher Bodies Bodies Bodiesalso produced by Hinojosa.
Girl will be released in theaters on December 25th.
