Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming action comedy Back in actionthat he sees Cameron Diazwell… he’s back in action after an 11 year hiatus from acting.
Diaz stars in the film together Jamie Foxx and play a couple of retired CIA agents named Emily and Matt. The plot reads: “Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves drawn back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.
The movie looks fun and will deliver great action that audiences will enjoy.
The rest of the cast includes Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrea Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts AND Ryan Jackson.
The film is directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible bosses, Baywatch) and also co-wrote the screenplay with him Brendan O’Brienone of the co-authors of Neighborhood.
Diaz will also return to voice acting for the upcoming animated sequel Shrek 5. The film also represents Foxx’s return to filmmaking after being hospitalized for an unspecified medical emergency last year.
Netflix will release Back in action on January 17, 2025. Enjoy the trailer!
