Captain America: Brave New World seems to have gone through a bumpy road. While the movie’s trailers make it look like a decent Marvel movie, it seems like there are still some issues to address.
There have been reports that the film went well over budget, there are reports of disappointing initial test screenings, and the film has undergone numerous reshoots with more underway at this time.
Well, it was recently reported that the director Giulio Onah was no longer involved with the project, with World of Reel reporting:
«He’s in trouble. Onah will retain his directing credit Brave New Worldand he’s very sporty about it, but he certainly doesn’t decide the shooting of the film.”
That rumor was later quickly denied by CBM, who said: “A source close to the project has confirmed that Julius Onah is still on board as director of Captain America: Brave New World.”
In the film “After the meeting with the newly elected president of the United States Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford Making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.
“He must uncover the motive behind a nefarious global conspiracy before the true mastermind causes the entire world to see red.”
Captain America: Brave New World even stars Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumblywith Giancarlo Esposito, Liv TylerAND Tim Blake Nelson.
Captain America: Brave New World will be released in American theaters on February 14, 2025.
