This weekend, Disney and Marvel headed to Brazil for their big D23 event and some interesting things were revealed. But some interesting information was provided outside of the event when Marvel boss Kevin Feige We sat down with the Omelete outlet (translation via CB) to talk about when we can expect to see Miles Morales join the MCU.
Feige was asked what the status of the live-action Miles Morales was and he explained: “Miles will appear in the third Spider-Verse, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after, he can enter the MCU in live-action.”
It makes sense that the character would conclude his trilogy before diving into the labyrinth that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those animated films are so incredibly well done, it’s nice to give them their moment to shine before bringing the character into live-action.
We don’t have a date for the third film yet, Spider-Man: Beyond Spider-Versewhich sparked some rumors that there would be delays or problems with the film. These rumors have been denied by many people involved with the film, and fans have been urged to be patient on the project that will unite the trilogy.
As for the future of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Tom HollandThe third film is just starting to gain some traction and will be released on July 26, 2026. Maybe by then we’ll be ready to introduce Miles Morales into the MCU. For now we’ll just have to wait and see.
