Jude Law reveals what he wanted to do playing the villain in CAPTAIN MARVEL

Jude Law talked about his time playing the villain Yon Rogg in the 2019 Marvel Studios film Captain Marvel. He explains that although it was a good experience for him, there are some things he wishes he had done differently.

During an interview with Variety, the actor was asked about his work in the MCU and said, “I don’t think you could get much more out of Yon-Rogg. This, for me, was Marvel at its best. It was a really good experience.”

He then expressed all that he hoped for the character he played, saying: “I wish I had been allowed to have a little more fun with the part. I wanted him to be more cunning. I wanted to lean more into humor.

Law went on to recall the outfit he had to wear in the film and how he had to attend stunt camps to rehearse for fight scenes.

Law said: “Those suits are hard to put on because they’re thick rubber. You go to stunt camp for a couple of months, where you do all these combat tests and learn how to do all this stuff.

“And then you put on the dress and you say, ‘Oh! I can’t touch my toes! How am I going to do all those things with this thing on?’ Understand it anyway.

While appearing in Captain Marvel It was a great experience for Law, he wished he had a little more creative freedom to bring his character to life in a better way. After all, his character ended up being pretty forgettable.
