A24 has released a new featurette for the upcoming horror film Hereticcenters on two Mormon missionary sisters who find themselves going through a horrifying and twisted experience after knocking on the wrong door.
The featurette focuses on Hugh Grantand the dark side it brings with it. His character throws these two missionaries into a horrible, nightmarish situation.
I recently had the opportunity to watch the film and he delivers an incredible and mesmerizing performance that will make audiences uncomfortable.
The film is also the protagonist Chloe East (The Fabelmans) AND Sophie Thatcher (Yellow jackets). In the film, two Mormon missionary sisters attempt to convert a man who turns out to be far more sinister than they could have anticipated.
The official plot reads: “Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming trapped in his deadly game of cat and mouse.”
This sounds like a great, creepy horror movie and it’s one I can’t wait to watch. It will be interesting to see how this story develops and ends.
Heretic comes from A quiet place writers Scott Beck AND Bryan Woodswho wrote the screenplay and will direct the film.
A24 will release Heretic in theaters November 15, 2024.
