Juno Temple talks about the Disney role she missed and why she realized it after seeing the film

Temple of Juno she is one of the most popular and sought after actresses in Hollywood these days. He’s such a great asset to the projects he chooses, for example Ted Lasso AND Fargoshows that he absolutely shone. But like every other A-lister, Temple has plans she hasn’t booked and takes those disappointments in stride.

His most important role was that of Tim Burton Alice in Wonderlandin which he hoped to audition for the lead role. He spoke about the experience with fellow actor Miles Teller during a recent conversation for Interview Magazine, in which he explained:

“I was 17 when Tim Burton made it Alice in Wonderland. I have a copy of the first edition of Alice in Wonderland with which I sleep on the bedside table as if it were the Bible. It was a dream role for me. I wanted to play Alice so much.

“I remember my agent calling me and the first thing he said was, ‘Will you sit down? We just wanted to tell you that Tim Burton doesn’t think you’re right for Alice, so there won’t actually be an audition for it.’ I was devastated.

She then revealed how she managed to recover from the disappointment: “I saw the film. And that was a really important realization for me at 17: I wasn’t the right person for Alice. I am the Queen of Hearts.

“When you see a final product, it always makes sense to understand why you weren’t right for that role at that time. I auditioned for a few of those Disney remakes. And it’s like I’m not Cinderella.

It turns out there were some great characters for Temple to play, only they came a little later in ways she didn’t expect. I love her and can’t wait to see what she does next.
