The YELLOWJACKETS co-creator teases that season 3 will answer questions about big mysteries

While waiting for the release of Yellow jackets Season 3, we have some preview photos and insights into the next chapter of the story to share with you.

in a new interview with Vanity Fair, one of the show’s co-creators, Ashley Lyleexplained that season 3 will dig into some big mysteries and provide answers to things fans have been wondering.

Lyle said, “This season is really where we start to put these pieces together. It’s very satisfying to have elements of this season planned from the beginning.

“I can’t go into detail, I wish I could, but there are a couple of big things this season that were in the initial proposals before they even got to the nets, that we finally had the chance to execute and to play.

“The satisfaction of having something on the brain for so long and finally realizing it is very exciting.”

I’m curious what these great mysteries are, but I imagine they involve what happened in the desert. Lyle joked, “We’re going to find out more about what happened in the desert that they’re so afraid to come out of. We hope it is satisfying and, at times, unexpected.

“And I think we found ourselves – let me think about how to say this. The stakes are quite high in the current storyline, perhaps in a way that wasn’t felt in Season 2, and it was really exciting for us to delve into it.”

He continued, “There are at least two big questions with very clear answers.”

Well, fans will be eagerly waiting to see what it will be. I would like it to involve the society and beliefs that have developed in the wilderness.

Yellow jackets is the saga of “a team of highly talented high school soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness.

“The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to a wild clan, while also charting the lives they’ve attempted to put back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really the past and what began in the wilderness is far from over.

Yellow jackets director and producer Karyn Kusama he previously teased what was to come, saying, “I was so excited by this. The concept of that immediate consequence of re-entering the world, for me, has an entire season’s worth of material.

“And the fact that this is such a long game that each of these characters are faced with, in terms of reorienting themselves to whatever normality is supposed to be. I’m sure we’ll learn that their normality is very different from ours… There’s a lot to understand between seasons two and three.”

Lyle previously revealed that they had a five-season plan and were on track to realize the entire story they wanted to tell. When they talked about the comprehensive plan they initially pitched, they explained why they believe five seasons is the right stopping point.

Lyle said, “The original plan was about five seasons, and we feel like we’re still on track to get that done. There’s always room for things. We don’t really consider it more than a five-season show.

“I think there are series that can last forever, but I think when you’re telling a story that’s so deeply serialized and it’s about the lives of these characters, you want to reach a satisfying conclusion and not just drag things out forever.

“This isn’t really one of those setups that shows where it can go anywhere. So far we have been really on the right track. Season two is largely what we always planned, but you make a lot of discoveries along the way so it’s always a little surprising.”

Yellow jackets stars Melanie Lynkey, Sophie Nelisse, Juliet Lewis, Cristina Ricci, Samantha Hanratty, Fawn cypress, Brown Savoy Jasmine, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, Lauren Ambrose, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren KoleAND Kevin Alves. Joel McHale AND Hilary Swank they also joined the show.
